Lighting Up London

London is crazy busy at the moment. From the BAFTAs and hosting the largest Chinese New Year celebrations outside of China on the weekend, to Fashion Week, we have spotted a gem of a festival.

Now in its second year, Switched on London is the capitals only lighting festival and allows us see London in a new 'light' by illuminating famous landmarks such as Tower Bridge, London Bridge and HMS Belfast.

For each of the 15 locations, a manufacturing company has been matched up with a lighting designer to create a piece that stresses the importance of lighting from a social, economic and environmental perspective. By doing this, they are also providing realistic carbon neutral solutions to the wasteful and often inefficient lighting that is currently used to light up many of our cities.
